Jacob Silvermetz hails from Maryland and attended Jewish day school from his childhood through high school. There, his exuberant and always sociable personality was molded as he became very involved in his community and discovered his many passions. He fell in love most with singing and acting as he thrived when placed in the spotlight. Now, at the University of Maryland, Jacob has continued in his singing endeavors in the lovely and exciting group, Kol Sasson. He pretty much loves them. In case you were wondering, Jacob's most idealistic hopes are to have everyone in the world take responsibility, exude kindness, express empathy and experience love.
